A New Book by Deacon Kevin Martin
Our brother Deacon, Kevin Martin, has just published a book – All Is Well Life Lessons from a Preacher's Father. The book will be released any day now and is available through Amazon. Cardinal Sean wrote on the book's jacket – "We are all blessed that Deacon Kevin Martin Jr. has generously provided us reflections on his father's life. This book is a valuable resource for connecting the ideals of our faith to the experience of our daily life and is indeed a guide for a life well lived." All proceeds will go to ALS Charities. My Uncle Charlie DeCoste, cousin of our beloved late Deacon Lenny DeCoste, was diagnosed with ALS and passed away in the mid 1990's after suffering terribly from the degenerative disease. My relationship with him was special, one which I still cherish today. We all have our own stories but the relationship between Kevin and his dad, who passed away almost 4 years ago from ALS, was more than special. Kevin has now shared that with us.
